Working with Pixotope without SDI In
Good morning,
I usually work in UE5 Vanilla before moving to Pixotope. When I render for example with the movie render queue in UE5.2 Vanilla, I need 30 seconds to render what I want. I need more than 7 minutes for the same rendering in Pixotope. Additionally, in play mode, without an incoming SDI signal, Pixotope operates at less than 10 fps.
How to work with Pixotope without SDI input signal?
What accounts for such a difference in rendering time?

Hello Julien,
Pixotope is designed, built & optimized for live production. These optimizations prioritize video fidelity in live production over post-production rendering. Pixotope is a real-time renderer/compositor, and the frame rate is determined by (and locked to) the video framerate. Note: If you have any routing configured in Director which has an invalid or no signal, it can cause the render to bog, waiting for the non-existent image.
If you have no SDI on your workstation, I might suggest you configure NDI in/out, then playout your clips while recording the NDI output stream.

Thanks for your answer. I have SDI on my station but it's a bit restrictive to have to feed the source. NDI is a good solution, I was not thinking about.
